Before Chandra left the comfort of the brothel house, the Va’lurin guard Shy’raan raped her. I will not post it up on this website instead; I choose to move onto Book 2: Changes, chapter 6.

Recap:
The Madam (Adara) had struck a deal with the bounty hunter, Xenos.  She sold Chandra to him but in return, she later betrayed him.

Chapter 6: Sold
_______________________________________________________________________________

Keeja and Chandra spent the last hour reminiscing about the times they had at the Tower. “Have you seen Lara?” Chandra asked.
“No one has I find it odd.”
“How so?” Chandra asked.
“Well I thought she would try to intervene but no one has seen her.”
Chandra thought about that for a moment but shrugged it off.
“Oh well it is for the best that she doesn’t try,” Chandra paused. “Anyways, I think it’s ridiculous for her to be so obsessed.”
“Did she hurt you?” Keeja asked.
“No, however during our fight she said something weird.”
“What is it?”
“She said that I was a monster before the Madam brought me here. What did she mean by that?” Chandra walked toward the window and looked out.
“Don’t let it bother you. Lara is jealous she’s going to say stuff like that,” replied Keeja.

Later after Keeja left Chandra's room, Xenos arrived at the brothel house. By now, everyone had heard about Lara and Chandra’s fight but most of the girls were busy with clients and no one noticed when Xenos arrived. The whole Tower was buzzing with rumors. “I am here for you,”  said Xenos. “Pack your things we must leave soon."
“Yes of course but where are we going?” Chandra questioned.
“I have many places to go to and I have no time to waste.”
“But…”
“Enough questions just hurry,” he ordered.

A week after they left, Chandra discovered that the Merchant’s real name is Xenos. He is well know to his people as a ruthless bounty hunter, a killer. He proved himself to be just that when him and Chandra stopped at a rest stop between cities on the continent of Lyvia. A nondescript individual approached Xenos inquiring about Chandra.
He knew right away that the stranger was after the bounty. Chandra was unaware that Sor’an had
placed a bounty on both of their heads. Xenos is wanted dead but Chandra must be captured alive and taken to Nykarus. Xenos told the stranger that Chandra wasn't the woman he was looking for however, the stranger did not buy it and Xenos had to kill the him as he followed both him and Chandra to his ship. Xenos realized that he not only had to deal with bounty hunters but the Ny’karin Empire itself. Keeping Chandra away from Sor’an is going to be a hard task indeed. She is unaware of her past, her connection to Sor'an. She is in fact a sleeper cell and can become active anytime.

A week after Chandra left the Tower, Sor’an paid Adara a visit. Adara told him that a bounty hunter had abducted Chandra and killed one of her prostitutes.
“It is true a bounty hunter killed one of my whores and took Chandra.”
“Who is this bounty hunter?” Sor’an demanded. Adara gulped nervously worried that he would sense she is lying.
“I don’t know him but he frequents this brothel house. He pays very well for the services I provide. I believe he is a Javarin,” she was convincing but not convincing enough.

“You lie!” His voice thundered, Adara 's body lifted in the air and was pushed back against the wall. She fell to the floor. Ny’karins are telepathic and telekinetic by nature.
“Guard come in here,” Sor’an called out to the Ny’karin guard standing outside the door. He did not want to kill Adara because she will prove useful later but instead leave her with a warning.
“Please my Lord I will find the bounty hunter,” Adara pleaded.
The guard came in, “Cut her hand off,” Sor’an ordered.
“No wait! I know who he is, please give me a chance to prove it,” she desperately pleaded.
“He is a Javarin named Xenos.” She betrayed Xenos it was not her intention to do so but she had no choice.
Sor’an’s cold black eyes stared right through her.
“Be grateful I have decided to spare your life,” he paused. “I will deal with the Javarin
when he is caught,” he stood by the door ready to leave.
“But I must leave you with a warning nevertheless,” he smirked. “You can do without a hand,” he added sardonically.
“The authorities will hear about this!” Adara exclaimed frantically.
“Yes they will and they will know why I did it too. You would not want that to get out do you? I know why you were banished and disowned by your kin. A former Princess reduced to nothing. I can make life pleasant for you if you cooperate.”
The guard grabbed Adara’s wrist and forced it onto the table holding it firmly.
“I might consider coming to this planet and setting up a base here,” Sor’an remarked.
“You can’t do that it will break the treaty,” said Adara, as she tried to pull away from the guard.
“True but Eur’leau’s planetary government is easily intimidated they want no trouble. If war starts between the Ny’karins
and Eureans then it will be on your head won’t it,” he added sarcastically.
He nodded at the guard and the guard took out a 79-laser knife. The knife cut clean and precise no blood was spilled but she felt the sting as it sliced through her. Adara screamed in pain. “Bastard!”She will have to wear a prosthetic hand for the rest of her life.

Through a reliable source Xenos heard what had happened to Adara. He will not be going back to Atlan anytime soon and he is very angry that she betrayed him. ‘I killed Lara perhaps I should have killed Adara as well,’ he thought.
The nights have been uncomfortable for Chandra. She sleeps on the floor and he sleeps on a bed. Xenos went on a hunt and took Chandra with him. He used her as bait. A bounty hunter was trailing them his name was Budji. Xenos knew him and his reputation proceeded him unfortunately they both want the same thing. Xenos let Budji trail them to the planet Dryad. He captured the Carin (Budji) with ease and killed him. At that moment, Chandra realized that Xenos is dangerous and that every minute that she is with him she is in danger.

Tonight Chandra sits alone wondering whom else he is going to kill or bring back. She shuddered at the thought. She got up and looked around carefully checking the door and the windows. ‘There must be a way out,’ she thought. The windows have an electrical shield and can only be opened by his thumb print. The door can only be unlocked by using his ID card. She knew very well what she must do to get a hold of it. Chandra continued contemplating her escape coming up with ideas. She doesn't have much time either because Xenos plans to take her to the planet Barunda for processing and once there she will be placed in a cell, alone away from Sor'an. Barunda is located in the Omega star system. At the moment, they are staying at a local hotel in the city of Doe’sha on the continent of Lyvia.
